Project Management Template
The "Project Management" template in Ora is designed to help you manage activities for completing a business project, whether it's time-based or deliverable-based. With seven customizable lists, this template is perfect for keeping track of tasks and making sure your project stays on track.
Lists (Stages) in this template
Here are the seven lists included in the template:
- Resources: This list is for keeping track of any resources needed for the project, such as equipment or materials.
- Next Meeting Questions: Use this list to jot down any questions or topics you want to cover in your next project meeting.
- To Do: The main list for tasks that need to be completed. This is where you'll spend most of your time, adding new tasks and moving them through the stages of completion.
- In Progress: Tasks that are currently being worked on should be moved to this list, so you can keep track of what's actively being worked on.
- Needs Review: Tasks that are complete and ready for review should be moved to this list.
- Blocked: Any tasks that are currently blocked or stalled for some reason should be moved to this list, so you can focus on resolving the issues and getting things moving again.
- Done: Finally, completed tasks should be moved to this list. This helps you keep track of progress and see what's been accomplished so far.
Features to consider
- Multiple Boards / Collection views: Enable this feature if stages are too many or you have 2 teams working in the same project each with stages of their own.
- Visible Task IDs: Each task in the project has a unique ID, making it easy to reference and track.
- Task Relationships: You can create relationships between tasks, so you can see how they're related and what impact one task might have on another.
- Milestones: You can add milestones to your project, so you can track progress towards important goals or deadlines.
- Task Types: You can assign different task types to each task, such as Story, Epic, Chore, Bug, or Feature, to help you keep track of different kinds of tasks.
As with all Ora templates, the "Project Management" template is fully customizable. You can add, remove, or rename lists to suit your specific project needs. For example, if you need a separate list for design-related tasks, you can easily add a new list called "Design Tasks". You can also customize the columns in each list to show different fields or data. Try the "Project Management" template in Ora today, and start managing your business project with ease.
